In the kingdom of Illyria, nobleman Orsino desires Lady Olivia. However, she doesn’t reciprocate. Meanwhile, an aristocratic woman, Viola, is swept onto the shore. She assumes her brother Sebastian had drowned. She looks for work, disguises as a man, and is hired by Orsino. Olivia falls in love with Cesario (Viola’s alter-ego), and as a result, a love triangle is formed, as Viola loves Orsino. Sebastian, comes to Illyria thinking that Viola is dead. They all meet up and confusion ensues. When Sebastian and Viola meet, however, the confusion clears, and Olivia ends up with Sebastian, while Viola ends up with Orsino.
